   WORTHWHILE PRAYER AT THIRD BAPTIST CHURCH.

  Christian disciples were never promised a bed of roses.  They suffered ridicule and even death in the arenas.  But this didn't stop them.  They knew about the power in prayer . . . and they prayed!  Each WEDNESDAY evening at 7:00 P.M., we meet to pray: for the needs of others, for our needs, for their families, for our families, for the sick, for the well, for big things, for small things . . . for everything . . . for YOU.  Discover listening to others pray and praying yourself.

  THE WORD OF GOD AT THIRD BAPTIST CHURCH.

  One of the tragic aspects of modern life is the loss of a sense of  `community' of belonging.  In our 10:00 A.M. SUNDAY BIBLE SCHOOL (open to all ages), we emphasize lessons centered on the Word of God, managed by trained dedicated leaders and teachers.  Rights of individuals are encouraged through participation and opinion.  Discover the sense of belonging.
